here's some Yosemite

In posting some Yosemite pictures I sort of wanted to focus on things that maybe most people didn't see. In chronological order -

Here's the front of the Wawona hotel with some shady characters in front.

After lunch at the Wawona on Sunday, we spent some time at the Mariposa Grove. Here's Juli in front of a big downed sequoia, "Fallen Monarch."

Here's a flower whose identity is in some dispute - I'm pretty sure it's an azalea.

Here's one of the deer we followed up the trail (in the rain) on the way back from our attempt at hiking to Illhouette Falls.

Here's a close-up of a dogwood blossom I took on our way out of the park.
