A Great California Visit

Here at last are some pictures from our trip--apologies for taking so long to get them up--we got back a week ago and have been swamped with all the things you have to do after being away. So great to hear from all three kids on Father's Day!

I don't seem to have this blog layout business down very well, so you'll have to move things around a bit in your mind.







The highlight of the journey was getting together with all the Woodward family for Mother's 90th at Yosemite. The fancy part was a great dinner at the Ahwahnee Hotel in the Valley, for which everybody was properly attired, shirts collared and ironed, and looking great!




There were plenty of other goings on, of course, at the big house and condos at Yosemite West.























And no shortage of people who look like they're supposed to be cooking but are really photographers in disguise.


The weary hikers revived when Mikala started a water fight.




Some special efforts were needed to get everybody spruced up for dinner.




But everybody looked great.
