On April 18th Juli and I went to Los Gatos and San Jose to visit Mother and go on a garden tour that featured drought-tolerant California native plants. The tour was very well-organized and featured over 50 sites from San Mateo County south to Gilroy. We chose 8 gardens in Los Gatos, Campbell and San Jose. Carol and Don joined us and we had a fun, informative and hot afternoon. This shot wasn't taken at one of the official native gardens, but rather at a famous native garden on Briarwood (Carol and Don's house). Note how well these 3 natives are holding up!
